Orange Crush

Our new house has some fixed elements that are very odd to say the least (more on that soon).  One of the things I have been forced to do in order to counteract this strangeness is to embrace orange.  Never having been a fan in the past it's a strange new obsession for me.

I just went and bought a litre of orange paint.  It's Benjamin Moore Adobe Orange 2171-30.  It's going to be transforming a small table very soon.

Have a peachy weekend!!

  2. I like the orange paint colour you bought, Carol. It has a lovely brown undertone... almost terracotta in tone.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. ooh i can't wait to see the table! i painted our living room bookcases a pale gray with orange backing and i love it- it just pops! i am not usually an orange person, but it seemed right. :) and of course it is just a backing so it is subject to change when i am over it. :)

  4. I am a huge fan of orange!!! Considering that fabulous orange Kate Spade you own, I'm surprised you're not too :) I love the orange you picked, and I can't wait to see the dresser.

  6. It will work so well with your Chiang Mai! (Did I get that right?) Wondering what the fixed orange entails. Just curious! I love orange, so I'm excited to see.

  8. Orange is growing on me... I opted for a close-to Tangerine Tango for the complimentary gallon of paint from PARA... I figured I'd go with a colour I wouldn't normally buy! Now I just need to find some fun pieces to use the paint on!

  9. Orange is one of those colors people seem to passionately love or passionately hate. When I found a couple of red, white and orange throw pillows on sale I started to really like orange accents. I'm sure you'll make the orange in your home sing.

  14. Ohh, pretty! I'm excited to see how your table comes out. It's not a color I gravitate too but I'm really diggin those dressers, so maybe I need to find something to paint...

  16. I am not attracted by the title of such landlord, nor is confused by the content of the post. I do not rob the sofa, nor is it to soy sauce.
