Ski Bunny

Our family has season passes to 2 mountain ski resorts for skiing adventures all winter.  It feels like spring is in the air and it's making me panic to think that our skiing fun is coming to an end.  Here's a small tribute to my love...

Boots. Blanket.  Candle.  Books.  Wallpaper.  Gloves.

  1. Don't worry, I heard that last year one of your local mountains got a ton of snow AFTER the ski season had ended! You've still got lots of time to be a bunny and hit the slopes! ;)

  2. I've always been a big fan of the tree branch wallpaper. It's so versatile!!!

  3. I love skiing too Carol! Which part of the country are you in? I am in NH and this year the weather has not been the best for skiing.:(

  4. I'm actually a hot weather fan, but the mood board you created looks so cozy -- makes me want to cuddle by the fire.

  6. I haven't been skiing in years - and the last time we went I had my 1 year old daughter with me so I didn't get to spend much time on the slopes. Love your cozy choices!

  7. Glad you love skiing - we spent the weekend at Whistler and everyone loved it, well, I am on the fence...I find skiing hard work and don't always feel confident about my abilities. It makes it even harder when my son goes whipping by me flying and jumping on everything he can!

I love that Cole and Sons wall paper and the HBC blanket

  8. I've never been skiing. I'm afraid speed and coordination are not my things.

Also, I saw something on the news about people dying in an avalanche and that has me all freaked out.

But I do like that cozy blanket. ;P

  9. It's been a long time since I've been skiing, but with inspiration like your tribute... well who knows ;-) If the skiing didn't pan out, at least I would be able to enjoy a book or two! I hope you get a nice long season, because seriously, with the weather we're getting, who would know Spring is just around the corner? Could've fooled me!!!

  13. Your post is my idea of skiing: Lots of cozy, and not a ski in sight :)

  14. I know exactly how you feel - every September, I dread the end of cottage/swimming season. In a good year, I can get swims in till mid-September. Then the countdown is on for June and the next swimming season!

Hope you have some more good ski runs before the snow melts :-)

  18. Nice thought thanks for share this post this I also share with you something . f you're planning anything special, whether it's whitewater rafting, renting a limo or hiring a stripper, ask for a contract. Remember, you may not be dealing with the most trustworthy individuals here, so make sure you get who, what, when, where and how much it's going to cost you in writing.
